<p>We have been notified that Harry Begian passed away Monday morning, July 26, 2010. Harry was a longtime member and friend of MSBOA. He had a most distinguished career and was an educator, friend and mentor to many of us.<br /> <br />Dr. Begian was the Director of Bands at Cass Technical High School in Detroit, Wayne State University, Michigan State University and the University of Illinois.<br /> <br />Out thoughts and prayers go out to his family.<br /> <br />Harry's funeral will be on Friday at 11:00 (visitation: Thursday, July 29 from 2-8 and on Friday, July 30 at 10:00 am) at the <br />Bannan Funeral Home in Alpena, MI.<br /> <br /> Bannan Funeral Home<br /> 222 South Second Ave.<br /> Alpena, MI 49707<br /> 989-354-5078</p>
